We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
Participate in training sessions to improve skills in customer service, food handling, and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant experience preferred, with knowledge of the food industry.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Micros POS is highly desirable.
