Duties

Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise and train staff in food handling, customer service, and cash handling procedures. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service efficiency. Conduct interviews and hire new team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Monitor financial performance and assist in budget planning to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a managerial role within a restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
