Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a positive team environment. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient operations. Implement and uphold food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Utilize POS systems (such as Micros POS) for cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization. Develop promotional strategies to increase restaurant visibility and attract new customers.

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Previous experience in supervising staff, interviewing candidates, and team management is essential. Background in hospitality or barista experience is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.42-$29.37 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
