District Bar Restaurant, inspired by NY food and drink culture with a gastro-lounge atmosphere. District Bar & Restaurant offers classic cocktails, craft beer selections, shareable small plates and classic entrees highlighting Manitoba locally-inspired dishes prepared with passion by our culinary team.
Job Summary
General Manager will be working to develop our people, maintain sales growth, manage all FOH costs, train and monitor staff to ensure constant quality standards, implement audit controls of current standards and policies and assist in the managing overall success of the business, working on business plans and communicating directly with the Managing Director and working closely with the Executive Chef
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate events and promotions
Direct hiring, training, and scheduling
Implement new and seasonal cocktail lists
Manage service standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef in planning objectives
Host weekly management meeting
Qualifications:
Entrepreneurial spirited attitude
Full service bar and restaurant experience within the premium dinging scene
Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff
Genuine passion for People, Great Food and Service
Excellent written and oral communication
Strong problem solving, and analytical skills
Considerable knowledge of hospitality systems and controls
Ability to manage with a high level of attention to detail, hospitality and enthusiastic personality to train and lead
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
