We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. Duties
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies
Actively lead daily restaurant operations with a strong floor presence during service
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development, including interviewing potential candidates
Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment
Monitor and uphold all points of service and attention to detail in both guest experience and back-of-house operations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
Maintain inventory levels and manage cash handling procedures
Implement effective customer service strategies to enhance guest satisfaction
Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and cost control measures
Collaborate with the kitchen team on food preparation and menu planning
Utilize POS systems (including Micros POS) for order management and reporting
Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally
Other duties, as required
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Experience with POS systems; Micros POS experience is preferred
