Job Description
Browns Socialhouse Mount Royal Village is looking for a new General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years management experience in restaurants, with a focus on food service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Conduct interviews and hire new employees to build a skilled workforce. Maintain inventory levels and oversee cash handling procedures. Implement and uphold food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Monitor kitchen operations, ensuring quality control in food handling and presentation. Develop and execute strategies to enhance restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management Experience with supervising staff, team management, and training new employees. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
