Job Description
Browns Socialhouse Britannia is looking for a new General Manager to lead the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Restaurant industry, showcasing exceptional leadership and management skills. This role requires a passion for customer service, food safety, and team development, ensuring that our restaurant maintains high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Supervise staff and provide training on food handling, customer service, and restaurant procedures. Oversee cash handling processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
Experience
Minimum two years proven experience in restaurant management Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Experience with cash handling procedures and financial management in a restaurant setting. Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
