Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Front Associate to oversee daily operations in our bustling establishment serving Hakka Desi Chinese Cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Support staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols. Oversee inventory management, including food handling and cash handling procedures. Utilize POS systems (Toast POS preferred) for order processing and financial transactions. Manage and update the business's social media platforms Implement food safety practices in compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant front or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Experience with POS systems; familiarity with Toast POS is a plus. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hotel or restaurant serving Hakka Desi Chinese Cuisine settings is advantageous but not required.
