Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and payments. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation practices. Assist in serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain a clean kitchen environment. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of sanitation practices in a kitchen environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
