Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections. Accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively upsell items. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during all food handling processes. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Experience

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in food preparation or knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
