We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
Support team management activities including interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Oversee restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health codes.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality excellence.
Experience
Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or restaurant industry.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms.
Background in food industry roles such as server, bartender (barista experience), or kitchen staff is preferred.
Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to interview and train new staff effectively.
