We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and scheduling. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Support the training and development of staff in areas such as food service, cash handling, and hospitality. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant management is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations. Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
