We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and scheduling. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial reporting. Support marketing initiatives to enhance restaurant visibility and attract new customers.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus.
