Located within a branded hotel in Brantford, our full-service restaurant caters to both hotel guests and the local community. Alongside serving daily breakfast, we support large-scale meetings, conferences, and private events hosted at the hotel. We are committed to providing exceptional dining experiences and are looking for a hands-on, passionate leader to help elevate our food and service offerings.
Culinary Leadership
Plan, develop, and execute innovative, seasonal menus for daily service and events
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Provide mentorship, training, and hands-on guidance to the kitchen team
Experience as a hands-on chef or strong culinary background is considered a strong asset
Bring creativity and new ideas, with
South Asian fusion experience considered an asset
Operations Management
Oversee daily restaurant, breakfast, and bar operations
Manage scheduling for both kitchen and front-of-house teams
Ensure smooth service and a welcoming guest experience
Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly
Oversee and maintain high hospitality standards across all areas
Procurement & Inventory
Manage ordering and vendor relationships for food, beverage, and kitchen supplies
Monitor and control food, beverage, and alcohol costs while minimizing waste
Maintain accurate inventory systems for food, beverage, and alcohol
Team Development & Marketing
Recruit, hire, train, and develop both kitchen and front-of-house staff
Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a positive team culture
Lead social media and marketing efforts to promote menus, specials, and events
Collaborate with hotel management to align restaurant offerings with hotel operations
Qualifications
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Culinary experience or hands-on chef background is an asset
Understanding of restaurant operations, costing, and budgeting
Experience with bar operations and alcohol inventory management
Comfort with social media promotion and restaurant marketing
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment
