Responsibilities Include:
Assess clients, perform new therapy starts including but not limited to CPAP, APAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Suction, Compressors, Trachestomy Care
Provide equipment as per physician's orders
Plan daily & weekly servicing, set ups both in house & in office, work around existing schedule
Guide clients through the funding process to ensure continuity of funding
Provide follow-up care to respiratory clients
Participate in on-call schedule, minimum of 1-2 weekends per month, minimum of 1 weekday/week
Provide ongoing training and education to clients on safety related issues as they relate to their care.
Educate clients on their condition and their prescribed therapy and follow-up with clients as needed
Ensure that all contact with clients is accurately charted in a timely manner
Provide troubleshooting with medical devices
Provide client education and training on safety related issues as part of delivery of service for all clients.
Responsible to help create and maintain a safe and healthful work environment.
Required Skills
Hold a valid CRTO License
Drivers License
Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
Experience with EMR an asset
