As the Resource Nurse or Resource Person (RP) in the Operating Room, you will provide support within the Operating Room's daily function working independently as well as collaboratively as part of the interprofessional team. Reflecting Humber River Health's values by demonstrating and providing patient- and family-centred care within the scope of practice identified by the ORNAC standards and the College of Nurses of Ontario. The Resource Nurse contributes to the day-to-day function of the service working alongside the Clinical Coordinator and Manager to support the effectiveness of staffing as well as equipment for efficiency within the service daily operation. The daily assignment for the role will include supporting the daily operational needs of the service, providing leadership as well as direct patient care. You will work with the Clinical Practice Leader to support the learning needs of the OR staff and students rotating through the service.
Employment Status: Permanent Full Time
Hours of Work: 8 hour day shifts from Monday to Friday, including possible on-call - subject to change as per Article B - Management Functions
