Stonetec Tile & Stone Installation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Residential tile industry with 5+ years experience.

As an employee of Stonetec Tile & Stone Installation Ltd. you will be responsible for executing various tile installation tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base Align and straighten tiles Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets Install tile strips Communicate in English clearly verbally & written. BC drivers license

Experience

5+ years experience in tile installation is required. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
