We invite you to join our property management team! We are seeking a live-in, full time Superintendent for a 87- unit high rise residential apartment building in Stoney Creek, ON.

Compensation: Salary + Two Bedroom Unit (valued at $1745/month), Phone & Internet, 2 weeks vacation

General Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Daily cleaning and maintenance of the building and minor suite repairs Co-ordination of subcontractor work. Ability to work as a team member with property management team Assisting with Rent Collection and renting of vacant units. Perform minor electrical and plumbing work; drywall repairs; plaster repairs; painting; carpentry; grounds maintenance and other work as required. Respond in a prompt and effective manner to tenants' requests Prepare units for turnover Be available for on-call response during evenings / weekends for emergencies Report to the Property Manager regarding persistent maintenance problems. Ensure tenant safety and security

Qualifications:

Previous superintendent experience preferred Handyman skills with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering is essential. Must have experience & be versed in repair work. Good communication skills for dealing with tenants, and rental inquiries in a professional manner. Strong customer service and excellent interpersonal skills Motivated self-starter able to effectively organize to achieve objectives and goals. Ability to trouble shoot problems effectively.
