We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rental Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in finding rental properties that meet their needs, providing exceptional customer service, and managing rental agreements. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
:
Show vacant units to potential tenants
Conduct move in/out inspections
Process suite rental applications and reference checks
Co-ordinate move in and move out of residents of the building
Assist with regular inspections of the building and suites.
Provide positive customer relations to the tenants, including handling of resident repair requests and resident issues.
Ongoing liaison with contractors and other suppliers, assisting in coordinating their on-site visits.
Collect rent and carry out the associated prescribed banking procedures in a timely manner.
Assist with the issuing of late rent payment notices, eviction notices and other collection procedures.
Issue purchase order as required
maintain on-site records up to date and in good order.
Answer the telephone and email, filing and other related office duties.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of all governing legislation such as Residential Tenancy Act;
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Yardi.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Clear criminal record and credit check.
1+ years of leasing/administrative experience or any relevant rental property management experience
Experience drafting apartment lease agreements
Personable, organized and presentable

Pay: $43,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
