Job Details

Assist with varying levels of persons served behaviours, following with crisis intervention procedures Serve snacks and beverages per persons served individual dietary needs Assist with and participate in activities that promote wellness and help meet persons served psycho-social needs Interact with persons served families demonstrating respect for their privacy dignity and rights Light housekeeping duties as required Assist in developing an interdependent team approach in daily duties Make appropriate decisions and take appropriate action in the time of crisis/crisis prevention Follow policies, procedures, and uphold standards

Requirements:

Education/experience in a Human Services field or Community College Diploma considered an asset. One-year experience or a combination of a minimum Grade 12 Education combined with training, and related work experience considered an asset. Our SCLO + ILS departments are looking for staff with a

license and their own vehicle

License/Certification

Must attend all organization's training as scheduled, Must have valid certification in all seven core competencies at all times, Must obtain a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check prior to beginning with the organization and recertify every two years,
