What You'll Be Responsible For
Guest Services & Front Desk Support
Greet all arriving guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
Manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring all personal information and payments are accurately processed.
Act as the key point of contact for guests throughout their stay, providing information about the property and Whistler.
Assist with concierge-style services, including arranging transportation, securing ski passes, and booking restaurant reservations.
Respond to guest feedback and concerns swiftly and courteously, prioritizing satisfaction and service recovery.
Communication & Team Collaboration
Maintain open and efficient communication with Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to deliver smooth and coordinated guest experiences.
Relay guest needs and property-related issues to the appropriate departments for quick resolution.
Confirm that all bookings are accurate and that pre-arrival preferences and requests are properly documented.
Administrative Support & Property Knowledge
Process payments, deposits, and incidentals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date billing.
Complete daily reports, logs, and task checklists to support a streamlined front desk operation.
Be well-versed in the layout, amenities, and policies of each property, providing guidance and suggestions to guests as needed.
Help monitor inventory levels for guest supplies and front desk materials.
Team Spirit & Adaptability
Work collaboratively with other departments to prepare accommodations and resolve guest-related issues.
Lend support to colleagues during busy shifts or high-traffic periods.
Embrace a flexible mindset and take on various guest service responsibilities when necessary.
Who We're Looking For
Experience in a front desk, hospitality, or concierge position is a strong asset.
Passion for service and strong communication skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
Ability to calmly manage guest issues and think on your feet.
Organized and capable of juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable with property management systems and handling payments.
Local knowledge of Whistler and surrounding areas is a plus.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and during busy seasonal periods.
