Job Description

Sullivan Festeryga LLP is presently recruiting for a Residential Real Estate Law Clerk.The candidate will be responsible for managing real estate transactions from open to close. Must have experience with Unity, PC Law, Microsoft Word, and Teraview.The successful candidate must have: 2-5 years' experience and proficiency with Teraview, Unity, and PCLaw Managing residential purchase, sale and mortgage files from start to finish with minimal supervision;

  • Preparing and reviewing title searches, and requisitions;
  • Preparing all documentation regarding real estate matters/transactions, drafting documents, and preparing all required correspondence;
  • Reviewing New Home Agreement;
  • Management of financing transactions for lending institutions and for private lenders;
  • Handling correspondence with clients, lawyers and external contacts;
  • Ordering title insurance policies and drafting title opinions;
  • Drafting e-reg documents in Teraview & familiar with the registration process;
  • Preparing reporting letters to clients, banks and other private lenders;
  • Preparing Statement of Account and Trust Ledgers;
Additional qualifications required: Possess both excellent oral & written skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines Possess strong organizational skillsWillingness to work in or learn other areas of law such as Wills & Estates, along with Corporate matters; is required and considered an asset.We offer group benefits and salary commensurate with experience.We wish to thank all applicants for their interest, however, only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
