to join our team of professionals.



In this role, you'll be entrusted with residential interior painting projects for new builds and renovations alike. This includes surface preparation and painting, precise touch-ups, and minor drywall repair. Experience working with a paint sprayer is required.

Compensation:


$25+ hourly DOE

Responsibilities:

Assemble scaffolding when required Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Match and mix paint to job specifications Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patching Apply paint, stain, varnish, lacquer, or other finishes to interior surfaces; drywall, wood, cabinets, brick, etc Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Protect and prep surrounding areas with drop cloths or masking tape to prevent damage or overspray Conduct touch-ups and final details to ensure a smooth, flawless finish Assemble scaffolding when required Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Clean up the work area once the project is finished Inventory and supply organization

Qualifications:

Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required Proven experience as a professional painter (minimum 5 years preferred) Completion of a painting apprenticeship or relevant training (asset, but not required) Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools Skilled in surface preparation, patching, priming, and finishing Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (typically up to 50 lbs) Strong time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license or reliable transportation Basic drywall repair and taping skills Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and have physical strength and dexterity
