About you



You're a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety, reporting to the condominium board directors and the property manager. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, whether it is responding to an emergency request, working through light construction projects, conducting regular inspections or managing any team issues.

What you'll bring:



Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in site maintenance.

Ability to take initiative and deal effectively with situations that arise and report to Property Manager during and follow up outcome resolution.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively and professionally in stressful situations.

The candidate should have the skills to perform minor general and plumbing repairs and maintenance in common areas and suites.

Have knowledge of building water/gas/electrical shut offs, as well as shut offs in the suites.

Solid tenant relations - responding to tenant calls for service

Pride in service delivery to the properties, tenants, and Property Management team

Ability to coordinate move-ins and move-outs with the tenants

Ability to work independently

A valid driver's license and clean criminal record check

Bonus skills and experience



Prior experience working in condo and residential property management

General working knowledge of building codes and life safety systems

Flexibility in work schedule - available for off-hours emergency response

What success looks like:



You are able to prioritize tasks and decisions, set clear objectives, and monitors progress and results while providing feedback on a regular basis

You are able to complete building and suite repairs and preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner

Your customers are pleased in how you respond to and complete work orders and projects
