We are currently seeking 2 passionate and dedicated Residential Life & Student Engagement Coordinators to join our team who will be working mainly evenings and weekends. Position Summary:
As the Residential Life & Student Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the student experience at FEIA. You will oversee the daily life of boarding students, plan engaging activities and excursions, and serve as a trusted mentor and resource. This is a highly rewarding, hands-on position that combines leadership, mentorship, and event coordination within a dynamic international school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Residential Life & Student Support
Provide daily supervision, care, and support to boarding students in a safe, respectful, and family-like environment
Foster a welcoming and inclusive dorm culture that promotes student well-being, responsibility, and personal growth
Communicate regularly with students, staff, and families to support student welfare and development
Oversee evening and weekend routines, including curfews, study time, meals, and general dorm upkeep
Respond to student emergencies or concerns in alignment with school policies and procedures
Student Engagement & Activities
Plan, organize and lead recreational, cultural, and extracurricular activities that enrich student life
Coordinate weekend trips, campus events, and special celebrations that build community and enhance the boarding experience
Encourage student participation and gather feedback to continuously improve programming
Ensure appropriate supervision and risk management during all events and excursions
Student Services Support
Assist with student orientation, arrival and departure logistics and day-to-day needs.
Support internal communication and documentation related to student life and residential matters.
Collaborate with academic, residential, and administrative staff to ensure a consistent and supportive student experience.
Required Education / Experience
Post-secondary education in recreation, event management, education or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience working with youth or in a residential/living environment preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Culturally aware and respectful, especially in diverse and international settings
Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to situations with maturity and good judgment
Passionate about helping students grow emotionally, socially, and academically
Energetic, adaptable, and able to engage students from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Flexible and adaptable because no two days are the same and that excites youExperience working with youth or in a boarding school, camp, or residential life environment would be an asset
