As a Residential Heat Pump Cleaner, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring homeowners enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency. This role involves inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining heat pump units to ensure smooth, reliable operation. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of residential heat pump units to identify dirt buildup, debris, or potential performance issues
Clean, sanitize, and maintain ductless mini-split and central heat pump systems
Remove dust, mold, and other contaminants from coils, filters, fans, and vents
Use specialized tools and cleaning agents (environmentally friendly whenever possible) safely and effectively
Test system functionality after cleaning to confirm optimal performance and efficiency
Record and report maintenance activities accurately and promptly
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, offering maintenance tips for long-term care
Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good condition
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
Previous HVAC, appliance cleaning, or maintenance experience required (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and outdoors in various weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and performing manual tasks
Valid driver's licence and clean driving record required
Access to reliable personal vehicle required
Basic understanding of HVAC components or willingness to learn
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience
