Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of expereince and will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the process. This role requires proficiency in various carpentry techniques, blueprint reading, and the operation of power tools and heavy equipment.

You must have a personal vehicle to get to and from job sites and your own toolbelt with tools.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine framing requirements. Construct building frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment in accordance with safety standards. Operate heavy machinery to move materials around the job site. Engage in heavy lifting of materials and components to ensure proper placement and stability. Assist with restoration projects involving framing repairs or modifications. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Maintain a clean work area and properly care for tools and equipment used on-site.

Experience

Proven experience in construction framing or carpentry roles is required. Familiarity with blueprint reading Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, woodworking, and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during large-scale projects. Prior work involving wood framing in residential projects is a plus. This role is vital for delivering durable structures that meet client expectations while maintaining a safe work environment through skilled craftsmanship and teamwork.

Pay: $18.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
