We provide deeply affordable housing and wraparound support services that help vulnerable adults find stability, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive.

We are looking for compassionate reliable individuals to join our team of residential counsellors.



Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate emotional support, encouragement, and informal counseling to residents in an adult residential facility Ensure the safety, security, and overall well-being of residents at all times Monitor resident behavior and assist with activities of daily living Plan, organize, and lead daily recreational and social activities that promote engagement and a sense of community Remind residents of scheduled medical appointments and accompany them as needed Administer prescribed medications and ensure adherence to treatment plans Maintain accurate and detailed shift reports and resident documentation Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and general upkeep of the residence Respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations, providing appropriate support and intervention

Qualifications:


Applicants must possess one of the following diplomas:

Human Service Counsellor Human Service Practitioner Social Service Community Worker

Preferred Experience:



Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a related human services field.

Certifications:



Mandatory:


First Aid and CPR Level C certification

Assets (not mandatory):



NVCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) training UMAB (Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviours) training SafeTALK (Suicide Alertness for Everyone) training ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training) Food Safety certification
Job Type: Casual Part-Time, Permanent, Shift work position.

Applicants must be available and willing to work various shifts across our 5 locations within Moncton and Dieppe.

Pay: $23.80 per hour
