Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Residential Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves managing project timelines, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver successful projects that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards Develop and manage detailed construction estimates, budgets, and schedules Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution Conduct quality inspections and ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations Oversee construction inspection processes to monitor progress and identify potential issues early Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion Supervise onsite personnel, including subcontractors and workers, fostering a safe and productive work environment Prepare progress reports and communicate project status regularly to stakeholders Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies

Experience

Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong background in project oversight Knowledge of construction estimating, quality inspection, and construction inspection procedures Electrical experience is highly desirable to effectively coordinate electrical components of projects Demonstrated expertise in project management tools and techniques for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Familiarity with quality control processes within the construction industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and team members
