Experienced Residential Construction Labourer: Opportunities for Advancement

MODE Built, a rapidly-expanding local home renovation company, is looking for a full-time skilled construction labourer.

We are searching for an energetic, dependable employee who shows attention to detail, initiative and a willingness to learn and adapt.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our on-site (field) team needs assistance with:

- Residential construction site prep, maintenance and clean-up

- Deficiency repairs, such as framing, minor taping repairs and paint touch-ups

- Door adjustment, window installation, lock installation and miscellaneous hardware installation

- Demolition

- Breaking concrete

- Unloading and moving construction materials, tools and equipment

- General construction help, indoors and outdoors

- Communication with trades, suppliers, office team and home-owners

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have construction experience

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools

- Knowledge of building code and safety codes

- Strong verbal communication skills

- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

You must be bondable (no criminal record), fluent in English, have a cell phone and have your own vehicle (with a valid driver's licence).
