Ventura is currently accepting applications for the position of Drafting Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, the Drafting Assistant is primarily responsible for submitting building permit applications and site layout requests.

Responsibilities:

The duties of the Drafting Assistant would include:

- Preparing building permit applications complete with all required documentation and plans

- Processing completed plans

- Submitting site layout requests in compliance with developer's guidelines and zoning regulations

- Follow up on outstanding issues on the Drafting Schedule

Requirements:

Entry level experience in residential construction drafting Experience using AutoCAD is required Must have excellent mathematical skills Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
