Ventura is currently accepting applications for the position of Drafting Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, the Drafting Assistant is responsible for submitting site layout requests, building permit applications, and creating brochure files.

Responsibilities:
The duties of the Drafting Assistant would include:

Requesting site layouts in compliance with developers' guidelines and application zoning regulations

Creating lot specific grading drawings to accompany each site plan request

Preparing building permit applications complete with all required documentation and plans

Assisting with the creation of marketing brochures

Requirements:

• Entry level experience in residential construction drafting
• Experience using AutoCAD is required
• Must have excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
