Cleaner (Casual Position)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a variety of residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all clients. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties

Perform general residential cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens to maintain a spotless home environment. Use cleaning tools and products safely and effectively to ensure high-quality results. Perform light housekeeping and minor upkeep as needed, such as changing linens or tidying spaces. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any client questions or special requests in a friendly and professional manner. Follow established cleaning checklists and safety standards to ensure consistency and attention to detail in every home. Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned homes within scheduled timeframes. Lift and transport cleaning supplies or small furniture safely using proper techniques. Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding schedules, client feedback, or any issues encountered during cleaning.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Valid G Class driver's licence (driving is a must).

A minimum of 2 years of professional cleaning experience.

Applicants with less than 2 years of experience will not be contacted.

Ownership of a safe, reliable vehicle

(you will be expected to carry large amounts of cleaning supplies and travel to multiple job locations across the city). Strong knowledge of commercial/Residential cleaning practices and equipment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
