Job Summary:

We are looking to hire care givers, to support individuals with developmental disabilities, in a group home setting. At KDJ, staff have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with the clients they support. Staff are able to accompany clients on outings in the community, and provide activities in the home. At KDJ staff input is valued by management, when developing care plans and planning activities for residents. We welcome staff of all cultures, ages and with diverse backgrounds. We prefer applicants have an HCA or CSW certificate, but are willing to train the right person. Must have Class 5 driver's license, current First Aid, and a clean criminal record check.

Responsibilities include: assisting individuals with their personal and health care, attending medical and dental appointments, cooking, cleaning and gardening. Being able to engage with the individuals, family and team members in a positive manner.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour
