Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong background in construction and restoration. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, preparing surfaces, and applying paint using various tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Perform restoration work on existing structures to maintain aesthetic appeal Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques for residential, commercial, and industrial projects Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation Experience with rigging and carpentry is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes in all painting tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
