Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will work closely with clients to address their HVAC needs and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions for their HVAC concerns. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installations and repairs. Document all service work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb, build, maintain, weld, and repair various HVAC systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC equipment. Experience with appliance repair techniques as they relate to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift On call Weekends as needed
