On-Site Resident Supervisor\xe2\x80\x93 Condominium Live-in supervisor wanted for a well-maintained, medium-sized, no-pet downtown high-rise condominium (69 units) with indoor pool; located next to Edmonton\xe2\x80\x99s River Valley. A 1-bedroom plus den live-in unit across from LRT is available at $1,200/mo. (incl. utilities + underground parking). Responsibilities include:
- Regular ongoing maintenance checks/procedures at defined intervals of building systems, including monitoring/testing/maintaining logs of building life safety systems
- Seasonal snow removal from the sidewalks and the building\xe2\x80\x99s access points
- Perform minor repairs to common areas, including painting
- Liaise with contractors and coordinate access
- Coordinate regular activities such as elevator requests, garbage bin removal for pickup, etc.
- Maintain security, intercom and key/FOB systems
- Follow established security checks of the property, including regular inspections and patrols
- Attend to after-hour emergencies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school education at minimum. Additional educational or trades courses are an asset
- Comfortable with computer use and in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc).
- Previous condominium building maintenance experience preferred
- Familiarity with emergency procedures (fire and water leaks)
- Physically fit, ability to lift up to 25 kilos
- Willing to obtain a Pool Operator certification
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving, prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Able to provide a police clearance
- On-site parking

- Weekend availability
