We are seeking a responsible and organized
Resident Manager
for a smaller building within our property portfolio. This is a live-in position, ideally suited for a reliable individual, couple, or two-person team with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Show available units to prospective tenants and collect rental applications
Deliver notices and other official communications to tenants as needed
Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding property
Report maintenance issues and other concerns to the Property Manager
Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including completion of condition reports
Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and concerns
Work effectively with contractors, tradespeople, and service providers
Clean and maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds
Perform seasonal maintenance such as
snow removal, basic lawn care, and minor repairs
Conduct minor building upkeep, including changing light bulbs and other small repairs
Serve as the liaison between tenants and property management
Use a smartphone/computer for communication, documentation, and photo sharing
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable using email, texting, and taking photos via smartphone
Prior experience in property management or maintenance is an asset
A Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check will be required prior to final hiring
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20,000.00-$25,000.00 per year
