We are currently seeking a Resident Manager for a smaller building within our property portfolio. This is a live-in position and is ideally suited for a responsible individual, couple, or two-person team with strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Show available units to prospective tenants and collect rental applications
Collect rent payments and issue receipts when required
Deliver notices and other official communications to tenants as needed
Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding property
Report maintenance issues and other concerns to the Property Manager
Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including completion of condition reports
Respond promptly and professionally to tenant inquiries and concerns
Work effectively with contractors, tradespeople, and service providers
Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including laundry rooms and outdoor grounds
Perform seasonal maintenance such as snow shoveling and basic lawn care
Conduct minor building upkeep, including changing light bulbs or minor repairs
Serve as the liaison between tenants and property management
Use a smartphone/computer for communication, documentation, and photo sharing
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable using email, texting, and taking photos via smartphone
Prior experience in property management or maintenance is an asset
A Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check will be required prior to final hiring
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25,000.00-$30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
