Sussex is actively seeking highly motivated resident managers to join our team. Resident Managers play a significant role in our success. Candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in people. They will develop a strong sense of community in the buildings they manage acting as primary liaison between the tenants and head office. As an integral member of our team, they have a keen desire to take charge and accept full responsibility of the building and tenants under their management. We provide flexible hours, incentive pay options with full support of highly experienced property managers and support staff.

We are currently recruiting for an apartment complex located at 25 Degrave St. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day building functions with a focus on tenant relations and leasing. Resident Manager couples are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties

Tenant relations Accurately creating and updating tenant files electronically; including tenant information, FOBs, and enter-phone system Scheduling leasing appointments and showing suites Scheduling and conducting move in and move outs with tenants Suite inspections - reporting concerns or maintenance to management Scheduling appointment with tenants, office staff, and contractors Assisting with annual preventative maintenance Assisting with rent collections Performing minor maintenance as requested Common area and groundskeeping, as required Responding to emergency calls Other duties may be required by management

Qualifications

Customer service experience Excellent computer skills Property management/ leasing experience Clear criminal record check required Must be legally able to work in Canada

Compensation includes full rental coverage for a 2-bedroom unit with some utilities included and a starting monthly salary of $2,000.00.
