(Hybrid Support Role - Concierge, Leasing, and Manager Assistance)
Location: Laurent Student Housing - Edmonton, AB
Reports To: General Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and people-oriented individual to join our team as a Resident Experience & Operations Assistant. This is a hybrid role designed to support key areas of the building's daily operations: front-desk engagement (concierge duties), leasing coordination, and administrative support to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a multitasker with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a resident-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Concierge & Front Desk Support
Greet and assist residents, guests, and vendors professionally
Manage parcel delivery logs and ensure proper handling
Maintain lobby appearance and order
Monitor and log incidents or concerns during shifts
Provide basic building information and direction
Leasing Assistance
Support the leasing team with tour scheduling and follow-ups
Collect resident documentation (ID, proof of insurance, deposits)
Assist with lease preparation and CRM updates (e.g., Yardi)
Keep track of unit availability and leasing activity
Managerial & Administrative Support
Prepare reports (rent roll updates, move-in lists, checklists)
Assist in coordinating building events or communication campaigns
Maintain documentation records (invoices, work orders, lease files)
Help track deadlines and resident-related escalations
What We Require
Exceptional written and verbal communicator

Sharp business acumen
Customer-centric mindset
3+ years' experience managing living communities and a team of 3+
Proficient in Property Management Systems (YARDI preferred)
Operational Details
Job location is at the assigned property. May be required to travel periodically.
Working hours consist of daytime business hours, requiring additional non-traditional hours during peak times and emergencies.
