WHO WE ARE The Evergreens Foundation is a not-for-profit housing management body proudly supporting independent housing in Alberta. We aim to facilitate quality of life for all of our residents, through our senior and social housing facilities located in Hinton, Jasper, Edson, Grade Cache, and Evansburg. To find out more, click here: https://theevergreensfoundation.com/about/ ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently seeking a Resident Coordinator who is looking to make a difference in the community while building positive relationships between our residents, their families, lodge employees and The Evergreens Foundation. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, some of the main duties include:
  • Coordinate, facilitate and maintain resident applications, assessments and assistance, resident and family meetings, resident files and wait lists.
  • Coordinate move-in and orientations, and move-outs.
  • Ensure Resident health, safety and wellbeing are priority.
  • Ensure compliance to organizational, lodge, and positional areas of accountability, policies, processes, & procedures, within Government and Foundation Standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong experience in client services will be highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, administrative and computer abilities.
  • An empathetic personality.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations, and has a proven ability to foster a positive team environment.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Coordinator Team, Activity Coordinator, Management Team, and Good Samaritan Society team to do what it takes to give residents comfort, connection, safety, smiles, and support.
  • Experience in senior housing and/or the hospitality industry would be an asset.
