We are currently seeking an experienced off-site, Part-time Resident Caretaker for a condo, comprised of two buildings and a Rental Pool, with a total of 102 units (60 units Strata and 42 units RAP) in Cranbrook, BC. This position only requires 3.5 hours per week.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for the administrative work involved in the operation of the building according to procedures, and by instructions from the management office. This will include collection, depositing and recording of all rents, maintaining accurate files on each tenant and suite, warning letters regarding problems encountered, eviction notices, etc.
• File for, and attend arbitration hearings, deliver notices, do move-out checks on departing tenants and move-in checks on new tenants (completing the required forms accurately and in detail).
• Perform all functions that may be required from time to time to satisfy all fire code and safety requirements.
• Prepare detailed incident reports of any accidents or altercations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one (1) year relevant experience as a Caretaker/Resident Manager in a Strata-owned condo building or Rental building
• Working knowledge of the Condominium Act and RTA
• Motivated and professional with a service-oriented mindset
• Excellent communicator; both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to handle conflict tactfully
• Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office and overall computer skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Reliable
