Job Description

This is a Temporary Full-Time job until with approximately 75 hours bi-weekly.


End date: March 31, 2025, or until the incumbent returns, whichever comes first



Schedule:


• Mon 6:30am-2:30pm
• Tues 6:30am-2:30pm
• Thurs 6:30am-2:30pm
• Fri 6:30am-2:30pm


As a Resident Attendant, your typical day will impact the following ways:


• Answers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service.
• Completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment.
• Transports residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required.
• Completes laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments.
• Deals tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families and reports any concerns / complaints to the team leader.
• Practices safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service.
• Performing other duties as assigned.





Must haves:


• Minimum of six (6) months experience in a similar role.
• Current First Aid/CPR training.
• Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
• Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
