We are seeking Reserve/On Call Security Guards for an Aviation client in Mississauga at Pearson Airport. This role is a backup/reserve position where you will be contacted to cover shifts and extra coverage for the client\'s security needs. These roles can lead to permanent full-time opportunities for the right candidate. This position is also a MLEO role, and we will assist you with obtaining your MLEO licence.We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.https://www.securitas.ca/careers/security-guardThe posting will remain open until filled.Position Overview:Wages: $21.00/hrShift timings: 0500-1700, 1700-0500 Rotational (Must be available for day and night shifts)RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site. Dispatch duties via radio communication accepting all radio calls.
• Perform parking enforcement duties, issuing parking tickets and infractions to violators.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility including offices, hangars etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 2 years security experience
• G Class Drivers Licence is required.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Ability to travel to the site.
