Responsibilities:
Apply advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to optimize performance in software and computer systems.
Collaborate closely with other researchers to develop, implement, and integrate novel algorithms and models into working solutions.
Evaluate and benchmark algorithm performance using both internal datasets and publicly available test domains.
Stay current with recent research developments in AI, machine learning, optimization, and system-level innovations.
Contribute to technical documentation, internal research reports, and potential publications in conferences or journals.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Strong experience in Python, C++, or other languages commonly used in AI research.
Solid understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX).
Experience with system-level programming, performance analysis, or optimization techniques is a strong asset.
Proven ability to read and implement academic research papers and reproduce state-of-the-art results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on experimental rigor and result interpretation.
Background in reinforcement learning, neural architecture search, or meta-learning.
Familiarity with software engineering tools and best practices (e.g., version control, testing frameworks).
Previous experience in publishing in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, CVPR).
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
