As an R&D Engineer at GreenFox, you will be at the heart of our innovation efforts, working on new product development, design improvements, and performance testing. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize existing product lines and explore new technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible in windows and doors manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:


Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of new windows and door products
Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations
Conduct material and performance tests to improve product durability, energy efficiency, and sustainability
Research and implement new technologies to enhance product features, such as automation, insulation, and eco-friendly materials
Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, testing reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure GreenFox stays ahead of the competition
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues related to product performance or manufacturing processes


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field
Proven experience in R&D, product design, or engineering, preferably in the windows and doors manufacturing sector
Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools
Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and product testing
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences


Preferred Asset:


Experience in windows and door production is a major asset. If you have hands-on experience in designing, testing, or improving windows and doors, your knowledge of material properties, production methods, and quality control standards will be highly valuable in this role.
