Your opportunity:

You will join a team that focuses on research in developing real-world evidence to inform provincial and national drug policy and the post-marketing surveillance of medications. We have a keen interest in leveraging big data to answer important health care questions. Specifically, we aim to ensure the appropriate and safe use of medications and the sustainability of public drug programs. We work directly with health system stakeholders and decision-makers to translate knowledge to action and enhance the meaningfulness of our studies.

Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, this position will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative duties for the research team. Specific responsibilities include Proofing and posting adverts to recruit applicants; Preparing consent forms using templates; Disseminating and collecting research surveys and questionnaires; Generating reports; Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items; Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate; financial administration and Providing orientation to others on work procedures and practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proofing and posting adverts to recruit applicants
  • Preparing consent forms using templates
  • Disseminating and collecting research surveys andquestionnaires
  • Generating reports
  • Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
  • Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
  • Providing orientation to others on work procedures and practices
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a health-related field and/or equivalent combination of education and research experience
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience in a psychosocial health-related research environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to generate new ideas
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Evidence of leadership, initiative, diplomacy and excellent judgement
  • Ability to set priorities and targets and to meet deadlines in relation to frequently changing demands
  • Demonstrated accuracy
