What You'll Be Doing:
This is a 14-month contract to cover a maternity leave

Reporting to the Head of Research, the Research Coordinator & Executive Assistant will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the Research department as well as assisting Research team members with various general administrative duties.

Please note this is an in-office role with a start time of 6:30am. The role requires schedule flexibility to align with research hour demands, though the in-office time parameters are negotiable.
What We're Looking For:

The Research Coordinator & Executive Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:

Executive Assistant

Directly support the Head of Research through inbox and calendar management, meeting coordination, travel logistics and expense management; Book all department travel, simultaneously managing multiple complex itineraries; Efficiently support Research Associates and Analysts, as needed; Manage calendars, prepare monthly expense reports for Analysts; Manage client/departmental meetings and draft agendas as needed; Website upkeep, department gifting, oversee office supply inventory, planning group outings, tracking vacations/out of office, and other duties as needed; Communicate with the various internal departments in order to complete ad-hock tasks assigned by the Head of Research; and Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Research Coordinator

Bluematrix admin maintenance; Coordinate production for research reports, invitations, discontinuing coverage; Maintain and manage multiple coverage lists; Manage Client Entitlement/requests from various departments and aggregators - Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, etc.; Manage Client research distribution in Salesforce; Morning call - Submit client research package, curate daily call, listen and keep daily timing record; Maintain media records, multimedia editing and distribution; Maintain departmental reporting (global settlement, dual covered stocks); Liaise with Stifel US for recommendation percentages for website and monthly estimates updates; Collaborate with Corporate Access on conferences, analyst marketing and webinars as needed; Assist Sales on a frequent basis with coverage lists, readership stats; and Other special projects as required.

What You'll Bring:

A high regard for detail and accuracy are essential. The role of the Research Coordinator & Executive Assistant is fast-paced and the individual will hit the ground running. It requires dedication, passion for the industry and a solid work ethic.
Knowledge of Capital Markets products and services is preferred; Experience working in a professional environment and providing high level customer service; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Ability to work under a high pressure and time sensitive environment; Can work effectively with a team, but also independently; Strong organizational skills; and Multi-task oriented, pro-active, and a team-player.

Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree preferred; and 3-5 years of work experience in the financial services industry with preference for prior equity research support roles.

Systems & Technology:
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook); and Experience using Bloomberg, FactSet; or similar platform;
