The Contracts Analyst will provide administrative support for all contracting activities at Population Health Research Institute (PHRI) at Hamilton Health Sciences, including but not limited to:
Job Accountabilities:
Manage email correspondence in a shared departmental Microsoft Outlook inbox, such as review and respond to emails from internal stakeholders (e.g. scientists, study coordinators, research assistants) and external parties (e.g. international researchers, contracts offices, universities)
Assist Contracts Specialists/negotiators in moving files forward in the contracting lifecycle. For example, use contract templates to create and process agreements in multiple languages, prepare documents for translation, proof-reading, formatting, getting signatures, and filing.
Maintain accurate records of the negotiation process (e.g. steps, timelines) of each contract in electronic databases
Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. College diploma for office administration or related experience (minimum 2-3 years).
2. Requires intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Ability to prioritize, problem solve and apply judgement.
4. High attention to detail and ability to maintain a great degree of accuracy.
5. Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and tact.
7. Advanced oral and written communication skills.
